George Lewis Watson, Jr. was born November 2nd, 1948 in Billings, Montana to the parents of George Watson Sr., and Lucy Watson. At the age of 7, his parents moved to Miami, FL. He remained a Florida resident since that time. His siblings offer fond memories of George growing up. His siblings are: Janice Randolph who resides in VA, Ray L. Watson who resides with his wife, Margo in TN, Ronald W. Watson who resides with his wife, Carol, in FL and Arlene A. Zook who resides with her husband James in FL.
In his younger years he was a surfer, beach boy, played the guitar and loved rock and roll music. He graduated from Carol City Senior High School.
He was 1st married and had three children with Lois C. Watson. The oldest, George L. Watson III residing in FL, Bradley Watson and Andrea Watson (Mucklow). Three grandchildren share the joy of loving grandpa: Zachary, Kaitlyn and Amy.
He shared the majority of his life being married to his second wife Barbara for over 30+ years.
His career consisted of being a plaster most of his life, but he also was involved in sales. His most recent position was for the public school system overseeing jobs for buildings and renovations.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing but his passion was reading.
George was a wonderful husband, loving father, sibling, uncle and friend to many. He will truly be missed.
